In Februarly of 2013, Lynn was invited to join the well-established Tantalus Quartet. Tantalus has appeared at important concert series and festivals throughout the United States, Europe, and Canada, including Carnegie's Weill Hall, the Guitar Foundation of America, the New York Guitar Seminar, the Iserlohn International Guitar Symposium (Germany), the Silesian Guitar Autumn Festival (Poland), the Acadia International Guitar Festival (Canada), and many others. The group recently relased its newest CD, "Foolish Fire".
Presti's debut Cd was released in August of 2013.
Preliminary feedback has been tremendous. You can purchase the CD through Amazon and i-tunes.
With the relocation of a member of the group to the UK, Presti is no longer an active performing group. In our years as a trio, we thouroughly enjoyed performing for and sharing with audiences across the United States in AZ, FL, NC, NY, SC, and TX over the 3 years that we were together.
NEW PIECE: Composer and accomplished guitarist and singer Frank Wallace has composed an amazing setting of the Garcia Lorca text "La muerte oscura" for guitar and narrator. I hope to have an mp3 posted soon! It is a tragically beautiful work and a magical setting of the dark poem!
UPDATE: All-State Concert Master goes to Leah H.
Section III Leader goes to Bryce G.
Lynn has continued to have 2-3 private students in the top 4 audtions for New Mexico's All-State Guitar. This year's top players also had the chance to perform at the San Francisco Conservatory with th Albuquerque Guitar Quartet.
Lynn teaches many young students who are playing at a very high level and who are thouroughly enjoying making music! Kudos to Prantik and Jake who are just a few pieces away from reaching levels 2 and 3 of the Bridge's series!
RECORDING: I am recording Volumes I and II of Castelnuovo-Tedesco's "Platero y yo" as narrator and guitarist with the hope that the Cd will be released in Fall of 2015.
Thanks again for being here, and for your support!
